There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to Him (Proverbs 6:16-19):

1. haughty eyes,

2. a lying tongue,

3. hands that shed innocent blood,

4. a heart that devised wicked plans,

5. feet that hurry to run to evil, 

6. a lying witness who testify falsely,

7. and one who sows discord in a family.

All these six / seven things have been happening around us almost all the time, even by US, Christians. Why do WE do these although our LORD hates them? Why can WE not abstain from doing these although our LORD hates them? Do WE really respect our LORD and obey Him? Do I? Oh, Lord, have mercy on US, a sinner! (Psalm 51:1) Don't let us turn back to evil things that you detest. Have mercy on US!
